The Element of Water is one of the five Platonic Solids. As I call on the four directions and the elements of Fire, Water, Air, Earth and Ether on a daily basis to create my sacred container of life and light, I wanted to share some of my understanding of these elements. The Element of Water gives life itself. Please enjoy the articles and videos included with this post to broaden your appreciation for this precious element of water and your understanding of the Oneness of Water.
“Water is the mirror that has the ability to show us what we cannot see. It is a blueprint for our reality, which can change with a single, positive thought. All it takes is faith, if you’re open to it.” – Dr Masaru Emoto
From the Beginning of Time
From the beginning of time, on Mother Earth, the element of water has birthed life. As the Earth is ‘contained’ in its own self-sustaining unit, this element never lessens in quantity. It only changes. Sometimes the element of water is liquid (water), or frozen (ice) or gas (vapours). The rains fall on the Great Mother, become absorbed by the plants and trees and the earth itself. The sun shines on the land, the plants, the waters and the element of water evaporates. It is carried to places unknown before it falls once again, this time maybe in the oceans, on the mountain slopes, or on another continent.
The Oneness in the Element of Water
We can say that the ‘oneness of the element of water’ comes from the fact that across all time, the element of water has been the same water. The exact same water that was birthed at the beginning of time on Earth is the water we are using today. The ‘oneness of the element of water’ is seen in our understanding that our ancestors drank the same water we are drinking today. It has continued through millenniums of time, giving life to all who inhabit this world in spite of the magnitude of changes the planet has endured. The ‘oneness of the element of water’ births all things, cleanses all things, sustains life for all things.
Life on Earth began in the oceans. Water is the lifeblood of our Mother the Earth. Life for us began in the amniotic fluid of the womb. Water is the lifeblood of our body, the lifeblood of every living substance on this planet.
The Nature of the Element of Water
The Oneness of Water is in all things.
The element of water is feminine in nature – as it flows and ebbs.
It likes to move and not be stagnant or sit still
Water has consciousness
It is listening to us. It can hear us.
Water has memory.
The element of water can receive and transmit signals and consciousness.
The element of water absorbs energy.
Because the element of water is receptive, it picks up our energy, and our intentions.
It would be amiss of me not to mention that while the same amount of water has existed on the Earth, the usable water continues to decrease. The number of people on Earth and the contamination of this precious element of water has continued to increase. Ninety-seven percent of the water on Earth is salt that is not usable water. Two percent is glacier ice and less than one percent of all the water on Earth is fresh water. Only about 0.3 percent is usable by humans. The usable water continues to recede. It is estimated that in India alone by 2025 the usable water available will be 7% of the usable water in India in 1947.
Blessing the Water
As we expand our own consciousness, we become aware of the oneness of all life. We begin to align ourselves with this ‘oneness’. Our prayers, our intentions for our life and the day to day ways we live it out. When we extend our prayers and intentions to include blessing the element of water, the prayers and intentions travel through the consciousness of life. Not only do these prayers and intentions travel through space, but they also travel through time as it has always been the same element of water. Every single person, all of our ancestors, across all of the generations in the history of the Earth have drank from the same water.
How we treat the element of water, take care of it, bless it or curse it, ignore it or hold gratitude for it, not only impacts the water but every living being that comes into contact with that water throughout all time. The simple blessing of water has the ability to change the collective consciousness.
Changing the Consciousness of Water
While the chemical structure of water remains constant, the molecular structure of water can be changed. We have the ability to change the consciousness of water, of life on Earth with the simple process of blessing water. Take the water you drink, hold it and bless it before you drink it. It can be as simple as saying “I bless you, I love you” “Gratitude, Love, Kindness, Joy” or a longer prayer of your choosing. See Dr. Mansaru Emoto’s Experiment in Gratitude and the documentary on Nobel Prize laureate Luc Montagnier.
When we bless the element of water – any water, tap water drinking water, bath water, sink water; when we stand in the river or the stream and bless the water, we are healing the water, changing the consciousness of the water to reflect the intentions we are blessing it with.
You are the Keepers of the Water!
Take the Taste Test
Try it yourself. Take the taste test. Put water that you normally drink and place it into two glasses. Take one glass, hold it in your hands, bring it to your heart and bless it. Now drink a little from the regular water. See how it tastes, feels, smells, looks. Then do the same with the blessed water.
