Rite of the Womb
What is the Rite of the Womb?
Birthed from the female shamans of the Shipibo Nation deep in the Amazon jungle, the Rite of the Womb is now a movement unfolding throughout the world to bring healing and restoration of the feminine essence within all of life. This sacred energetic transmission of loving, powerful energy is given to empower women and bless the womb as the creation space and the giver of life. . The Rite assists in releasing the trauma, pain, suffering and fear women have carried in the womb space for centuries and passed from generation to generation in their genetic lineage.
Through this powerful and loving ritual, both women and men are invited to initiate deep healing within themselves and within their ancestral lines and the Great Mother, Gaia. Receiving or participating in this Rite, one honors themselves, their mothers and grandmothers, their daughters and granddaughters, and their ancestors. They engage in a conscious process of releasing old stories, wounds, patterns and beliefs that limit their evolution.
This lineage of women, through the jungle medicine, has given us the 13th rite of the Munay-Ki: The Rite of the Womb. Once you receive it, you share it with as many women as possible. As the Rite of the Womb is passed from one person to another, it transmits an loving yet powerful energetic force into the womb of the receiver, with the intention of initiating the deep healing of all that women have carried from their life experiences, cultures, and ancestry – pain, fear, suffering, grief, shame, guilt, oppression and terror. As these heavy energies are cleared, the Rite empowers women to reclaim their power and place in the world as wise leaders, teachers, and healers. The feminine requires the healing of the masculine as well, so the Rite is also shared with men who are called to support healing and balance in the world. It is also offered to men who feel the need to heal their own psychic womb.
